Toilet Paper and Peace!

Well, today was my day off, I have had a few of these in the last month, but this is the first one that felt like a day off, I had a few plans, but other then those things, I didn't do anything. Which of course is good and bad. Does everything have a positive and negative to it? Anyways, I had a to do list that I haven't really looked at. My day started great, I went to a prayer meeting with my mom at 6:30 till 7:00, then had some coffee. Then I had breakfast with Seth, we ate at Denny's....which...well I will spare you the details, but lets just say, that it will be a looonnngggg time before I go there again, if ever. This provokes a thought though. I went to kells house after, which shortly after being there I needed to use the bathroom. Here is my question, why do people store things that are used in the bathroom, in this case toilet paper, in a closet, not in the bathroom. For real, this is a mystery to me. Think about it though, a lot of people do it. Is it to much to ask to store a least one back up under the sink! I would hate for this to happen when you are a guest in a home, what do you do. Grin and bare it? Venture out on your own, creeping across the hall to the closest closet, praying that it is the right one? Yell out, not only revealing your very natural business that for some reason is usually associated with negative condentations. There is one that may not have a positive side to it. Well, I believe I have said to much, I will end with this, if that is you, the one that uses the last bit of the paper and doesn't refill, or if you are the one who stores the t.p in a closet down the hall, please! I beg you, for the sake of others, throw a roll on the toilet, or under the sink. Little acts of kindness go a long way.

Well, that was not what I thought that my second entry would consist of. I am going to go now before I reveal more strong feelings about things that will probably effect the way people see me!

Peace

Thought of the afternoon: Think of something that brings you peace. For me, right now, it is watching fish, my roommate has a big tank with a few beautiful fish, and watching them is very peaceful. Comment, post what brings you peace.

  1. The sound of an empty sink, clothes folded, swept floors and a sleeping kid. That brings me peace.
